"Ramblings" will updated if
and when I'm really impressed or really pissed off. It's me spouting. Don't
like it? Don't read it.

Horse's Asses and Horse's Mouths

Maybe it's because I work with so many manufacturers from within the
sign industry, or maybe it's because I'm so damned arroghant ...but I get
pissed off every time I see someone, who claims to be intelligent, bitching
about a product or service, and looking for remedies in online forums such
as Letterville. Of course, a large percentage of the "cures" they
get are as wrong as can be...but they take that advice, make their situation
worse...and then blame the manufacturer even more.
Hey...here's a novel approach...contact the manufacturer. Every company
I've ever provided marketing, advertising or tech support services to, has
people and procedures in line to help with their end users concerns and
issues.
So if you're a sign maker/ customer painter or, God forbid an "artist",
and you're not sure about a product's use or application ...get ahold of
the people who make it...not the people who apparently have so much time
on their hands that they can post all day in an online forum.
Think about it. |

After eight years, Brian The Brush has parted
ways with SignGold Corporation, and will no longer be endorsing or promoting their SignGold
product line. It's important to note that Brian's decision to end this relationship
was not based on product quality or issues, and that our Cocoanut Jam Sign
and design division will continue to use SignGold products in the shop.
